I am a parent of two boys at Chrysolyte School. One of my boys have just passed out with flying colours and moved into Year 7. While he was at Chrysolyte, he was well behaved because he was being taught to be on his best behaviour not only in school but outside the school premises. A few months after he started, he was transformed, he said “Dad, Chrysolyte has really changed the way I study and my behaviour has improved. I am really focused now and more confident in studying”.
I really appreciate Mr & Mrs Ikiebe for the work they have put into the school. When I first walked into the school, the children greeted me with a bow; that was the first time I had seen that in a long time. They have taught the children to be respectful and God-fearing. They are wonderful people and have helped me in putting my kids on the right track of life.
I attended Chrysolyte and it prepared me for so much more than just secondary school. The discipline helped me a lot; I became more diligent, focused and organised. I even wish that I had gone to a secondary school that was just as good. The emphasis on our faith helped me through hard times and the school was very supportive too. It was more like a family. Chrysolyte must keep its good name and legacy and hopefully my children in future will also attend.
The years I spent at Chrysolyte was of good quality and I have very fun memories of being there. The teachers were kind, easy to get on with and were there to help and explain. The award ceremonies motivated me to do well and excel which also introduced some healthy competition between the other pupils. I was a troublesome pupil, but the teachers managed to help me fine tune my behaviour and now my hyper activeness has virtually gone, which my parents and I are grateful for. I am still in touch with my classmates and teachers. They really helped shape and change me for the better and I am forever grateful.
My academic achievement started from Chrysolyte and therefore has been a solid foundation which I can always look back on and say “I did my best, enjoyed my time at Chrysolyte and have my teachers, Sir and Matron to thank for making my stay there interesting and pleasant”. Chrysolyte is definitely a school I would recommend people to take their children to learn, regardless of race, background or religion, if they are looking for good, reliable teachers whose aims are to see children thrive and become successful and important people in their chosen profession. Moreover, keeping in touch with the school, the teachers and the pupils in your class is a major asset for the future.
My time in Chrysolyte was full of learning and fun. Chrysolyte teaches values such as effort, punctuality, teamwork, godliness and trust. All those things helped me in my first half term of my secondary school. Chrysolyte prepared me for secondary school; all the hard homework was really useful. I could do secondary school homework without any stress. Chrysolyte is really special to me because it gave me the good values. It really transformed the way I study and my behaviour to people and my friends. It has a very high standard when it comes to behaviour and education. My teachers really guided and moulded my academics, helping me to learn how to achieve my goals and how to study better. They are always so encouraging!
I spent two years at Chrysolyte School and loved it. The school challenged me academically and every day I learnt something different or new – not only this, I developed as a person as the school teaches you how to be a good person and about Christian morals. My relationship with Sir and Matron is fantastic, when I was a student they guided me and gave me great advice – they really did look after me well and even as an ex – pupil I still maintain a good relationship with them. The teachers treated me like I was their own child as they were so loving and caring. I have known them for a long time and they are both brilliant teachers who clearly love their jobs. I think that the whole ethos of the school is fantastic. They teach above the State Curriculum and help you to develop as a Christian. The school teaches you to be a well-rounded person.
I am a former student of Manna Saturday school and the Summer school. The school helps to enrich the lives of children and they helped me grow into the person I am today as they taught me valuable life lessons. The relationship that I had with them is one that I will never forget as I saw them as people to look up to, as they are what I aspired to be. The staff that they hire at the school treated me with the upmost respect and I believe that they upheld the highest morals. These are people I respect; fun teachers who were to have a balance between having fun and working. I attended for over 6 years, and over those years I saw nothing but teachers and management who took a caring role in the development of each and every child that attended both the main Monday- Friday school, Saturday school and also the summer school. I have had a personal relationship with the school even though I graduated from there back in 1999. They have supported me during some of the lowest moments and also assisted in the development of my business.
